With the rugby season underway it has been a hectic start with RDO's and Provincial Unions completing their Rugby Smarts and Small Blacks courses. Continue on the next page to see some feedback from coaches who attended both courses. sThe majority of Provincial Unions have completed the last of their compulsory courses as we come to the end of another busy period. This year the Coach Educators placed a huge focus on how to 'Create an Effective Learning Environment' when running a course. Bill Wigglesworth, Jason Macdonald, Lesley McKenzie & Jarvy Aoeke put together a well planned Rugby Smart session template at the National Conference. This involved more interaction with coaches when attending and also utilisation of facilitation skills. The session plan and national conference overall were well received by RDO's and seems their efforts have been recognised in the below feedback of Rugby Smart & Small Black Courses.
